19th ISTAHC Meeting in Canmore/Alberta, Canada

Submission deadline for abstracts: 15 December 2002.

ISTAHC 2003 will focus on Improving Outcomes through Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and three key steps required to accomplish this goal:

1. identifying the "right" questions,
2. refining methods of evaluation to ensure the usefulness of findings, and
3. implementing results through approaches that positively influence policy and, in turn, practice.

The primary topic of health technology assessment will be supported by the secondary topics of healts economics, health services research, health-related quality of life and outcomes assessment.
